The Siemens Gigaset SL74X is a version of Siemen’s Gigaset SL74 cameraphone which will make those who are nervous about electronic eavesdropping happy (as long as they have the $2000 to pay for it, that is.)

You get AES-CBC 128-bit encryption, so as long as you know there aren’t any bugs in the area where you’re taking your calls, you can chat safely.

I don’t know, though. I talk to anyone worth talking to through email, IM or text messages, so anyone wanting to eavesdrop on my voice calls would be likely to spend the day listening to me put off telemarketing people using one of my rather pithy “got it/don’t want it/seriously, I don’t want it/no, no, I absolutely mean it, I don’t want it” lines.
