Are you itching for spring? I know I can’t wait for the snow to melt and the flowers to pop up out of the ground. While searching for some spring inspired gadgets I cam across this adorable solar garden light and fell in love. This Solar Bloom is a garden light that is shaped like a big, beautiful flower. It spins when the wind blows it and comes in a variety of colors.

You can get this at Amazon.com

A row of these would look amazing along a walkway or driveway. You could choose all one color for a monochromatic look or alternate two or three colors for a rainbow-like effect. You know what would look really neat? Take a large cedar barrel and place it out in the yard (like in the middle of a front flower bed or rock garden). Now plant a few low-lying ground cover flowers to give color to the barrel during the day. Place a few of the Solar Blooms in there as well—then when night time comes you’ve got a barrel full of bright flowers as well!

These little solar lights would also be a great choice out at the cabin to light walkways or simply to add night time decoration. Anywhere you’d want to enjoy flowers during the day you can place a few of these and have colorful blossoms when the sun goes down.
