Some of the most gorgeous curly or wavy hairstyles are created with hot rollers. They make soft, touchable curls that are so hot right now. It’s super easy to use these rollers, too. Heat up the rollers and once they’re to temperature you’re ready to go. Simply take sections of hair slightly smaller than the width of the roller you’re using and wrap hair around the roller, starting at the ends and working your way up to the scalp. Pin the roller in place and repeat the process until all the hair you want curled is rolled into the hot rollers.

Allow the rollers to cool completely and then gently remove them from the hair. Use your fingers to gently separate the curls and place them into the style you want. You can use a little hair wax to further add definition to the curls and then spray lightly with a humidity proof hairspray to keep those curls looking perfect.

“The Hammacher Schlemmer Institute tested the leading hair rollers and these proved to be the best because they maintain the highest temperature and form curls that retain their shape longer than the curls produced from other models. The rollers average temperature of 193° F is 12° F higher than lesser models, and their superior heat retention ensures long-lasting curls, leading one panelist to comment that the curlers form excellent curls that hold for the entire day. Unlike typical rollers with hot and cold spots, these have a ceramic core that evenly distributes heat across the entire roller for smooth waves or tight curls without burning the scalp or damaging hair.”
