Speck ToughSkin for iPod classic Review at iLounge
iLounge reviews the Speck ToughSkin for iPod classic and writes, “It has the same general profile and features as the fifth-generation iPod classic ToughSkin we reviewed two years ago, including a detachable belt clip and nub that are no longer part of the iPod nano version. It still uses a rubber spacer to enable its 160GB iPod-sized body to fit thinner 80GB iPod classics, rather than coming in two different sizes. In our view, this isn’t an issue for a case that intentionally beefs up the iPod’s size, but some people may feel otherwise. Like the iPod nano version, its only major omissions are in control and port protection, which other case companies have successfully achieved for all iPod models with stickers, flaps, or other plug-in parts.”

Digital Trends reviews the iPod touch 16GB and writes, “Aside from a couple minor limitations, the 16GB iPod touch is truly amazing. It’s one of those products that probably has competitors in frantic states of insomnia, burning right through their R&D budgets trying to keep up. The iPod touch is gorgeous - thinner than most media players, features a whopping 3.5″ LCD screen, holds a lot of content and is terribly easy to use. Sound quality is awesome and output covers the full range of normal human hearing, from 20Hz to 20kHz. Movies, TV shows and other video content looks fantastic. The touch screen is exciting to use and the overall product makes a very positive impression.”
